    Description

    From a local estate, here is an early version of a flatware storage box from Wm Rogers & Son. All wood with dovetail edges, has a drawer on the bottom. Measures about 9" X 10.5" X 4.5" tall, fabric interior with wood dividers underneath. Standard hinges, front clasp, handles on the sides, and a plate for a monogram on top. This is fairly lightweight, definitely old but not super-high quality.
    Standard age and flaws, the box shows general age and wear, the interior fabric is faded, and some of the wood dividers under the fabric are loose, could be glued back or used as they are. A classic from days gone by, use it today or restore it to a showpiece.
