    c1870s 14k Multicolored Gold American Aesthetic Movement Pin/Brooch
    Presented is a gorgeous 14 karat multicolored gold brooch/pin. This piece is made in the style of the American Aesthetic Movement, and dates to that time period as well, around the 1870s. The pin is done in a rectangular design, with a matte finish. In contrasting rose and green gold is a design of barley stalks and leaves, finely detailed and textured. The brooch has a simple capped clasp as well as a loop at the back so it could be worn as a pendant.
    The brooch is in great condition. The details of the designs are nice and crisp. There are no breaks and no repairs.
    This brooch is not stamped. We have tested it with nitric acid and guarantee it to be 14 karat gold.
    The pin measures about 2 1/2 inches from end to end.
    The pin weighs 8.0 grams.
