    This collectible investment is a pair of 1860s checks drawn on the Ilion Bank (NY).
    They exhibit beautifully engraved vignettes of the kind that graced higher quality paper of the period.
    The arm & hammer piece is in about uncirculated condition, with a cut cancellation. The blacksmith check is extremely fine, with a cut cancellation. No pin holes, or tears. Excellent paper quality. An opportunity to add
    very nice examples of 19th-century financial paper
    to your collection.
