Description of Pin
This lovely platinum Edwardian pin highlights a beautiful natural tourmaline that we believe to be un-treated. It is surrounded by a selection of lovely and bright Old European cut diamonds ranging from F to I in color and averaging SI1-2. The tourmaline itself is roughly 13 x 9 and is set in a bezel setting. It does have a small bruise or area of damage on the pavilion (bottom side) that is visible with the loupe or with careful inspection .
This like many of our antique pieces HAS NOT BEEN POLISHED as many collectors prefer to receive the piece with its natural patina. If you would like to have it polished we would be happy to do this at no charge. Please note however that we ask any sale of an antique that is polished be considered final. The overall condition of this piece is EXCELLENT. There is a bruise to the tourmaline that is visible with a loupe or careful inspection.
