In the old certificate of Nihon Bijutsu, it is called Shoami, but I think it can be seen as Heian Castle.
Although the design is a bamboo tiger, it is not majestic, but rather simple and the tiger's body is vividly expressed. The color and slickness of the time-honored brass are also wonderful.
It should also be noted that it is left untouched. With excellent iron taste, there is no decay or red rust, and there is no inlay.
It is very similar to the style of brass inlays of Heianjo Chokichi, which I had seen before, and the times should not be much different.
According to the inscription, Heian Castle Chokichi has two generations in the Momoyama period. In my opinion, this work is slightly more time-honored.
The era tsuba, which is not gorgeous but has not been modified at all, is extremely rare. I would be happy if someone who understands the value can own it.
