Vintage 14k gold reverse intaglio painted Essex crystal bridle equestrian brooch

Metal: 14k yellow gold, stamped and acid tested
Motif: An equestrian rider jumping a gate on horseback, in a stirrup design.
Intaglio: This brooch features a mother of pearl backed reverse intaglio, hand carved and hand painted, and bezel set.
Dimensions: 2" x .5"
Weight:
Condition: The mother of pearl backing has a hairline crack running through it. It is visible to the naked eye, but is not obvious. The crystal itself features a few small abrasions, mainly at 3:30 and 8:00 o'clock. These abrasions are very difficult to see with the naked eye, and are mainly visible with a loupe.
